Congrats to our SoCal Sound Grammy Winning Artists!

What a night - Grammy's 2025!

What a great start to the Grammy's with LA's own Dawes opening the show singing Randy Newman's "I Love LA" - alongside John Legend, Brittany Howard, St. Vincent, Sheryl crow, and Brad Paisley. Brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith from Dawes both lost a home and a studio in the fires…

ALBUM OF THE YEAR went to Beyonce for "Cowboy Carter"

RECORD AND SONG OF THE YEAR went to Kendrick Lamar for "They Not Like Us." In his acceptance speech, Kendrick dedicated it to LA, "Compton, Watts, Long Beach, Inglewood, Hollywood, out to the Valley, Pacoima, IE, San Bernardino, all that." He continued: “You know, this is my neck of the woods that held me down … since I was in the studio scrapping to write the best raps and all that, in order to do records like these.”
