Before playing a sold out show at The Hollywood Bowl with Caifanes, Cafe Tacvba joined Nic Harcourt for an interview and played 3 songs LIVE at the SoCal Sound Studios.

Café Tacvba are a legendary Mexican rock band, with a long career spanning over 35 years.

When discussing the longevity of the group, lead singer Rubén Albarrán explains to Nic Harcourt during the interview, “We always think that music joins us… for example, to do this new songs it bring us, some good energy. Creativity and art music helps to like medicine to heal and it seems like the, the rock music comes with, a new, a new energy! I saw the, the musicians from other bands of our generation, and a lot of them are playing another time. They came together, came back to balance. Yeah. And there are festivals with all these 30 years, 35 years bands. maybe not with the original members, but they are playing. So it is a beautiful time for us.”

Café Tacvba will be returning to Southern California playing Désame Mucho Festival Los Angeles 2024 at Dodger Stadium on December 21st.
